About Me

Hey guys, I finally made a blog. Alright, let's crack on.

First thing first, My name is Jide but you can call me 'The Jidz'. I am soon to be a second year student at the University of West London studying Broadcast Journalism. I chose this course because I've always enjoyed the challenge of getting out there, grabbing the news and broadcasting it to the audience (although it can be long and boring at times) and I believe that this course will help me expand my knowledge of journalism and one day, become one of the best news reporters or journalist..something along the lines of that.

I studied English Language, Media Studies and General Studies back in college which has really helped me further develop my writing skills and to enhance my knowledge of the world and it's multimedia. Knowedge is power after all.

I also have a radio show with my friend Jade called 'Live Soundz' where we are on air every Friday at 6pm - 8pm on www.blast-radio.co.uk where we play whatever we feel like playing: Afrobeats, (some) Bashment, Funky House, RnB, whatever sounds good and what people like hearing. We also have interviews with people we have encountered through uni life and we are hoping to expand to artists, models, anyone who would like their voice heard over the radio. But due to us finishing uni, we have to reschedule the time and date of our show so I'll get back to you on this.

I've already had a portfolio going so once is marked I'll share it with you, comments are welcomed. But until then, bear with me.

I will also share any stories from my past experiences from my life from secondary school to university, along with any of my personal thoughts about life and it's challenges. 

 I also have a passion for films so I'll be writing some reviews from my personal viewpoint.
